Catfish "Easy Bake"

Ingredients

  • 4 catfish fillets
  • Butter
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1/2 tsp tumeric
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place fillets in shallow glass buttered baking dish.
Mix remaining ingredients together and spread on top of fish.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Serving Ideas

Serve with steamed broccoli, glazed carrots, and cornbread or coleslaw and fried potatoes.

Other Suggestions

Sprinkle top with chopped fresh parsley and dry bread crumbs.
Mix in fresh or dry dill or other favorite seasonings!
