Gluten Free? So are we!
We’ve all heard about the latest fad diet (and yes, some of us have even tried them), but being gluten free isn’t a fad. It’s a way of life. There are over 3 million people in the United States alone that suffer from Celiac Disease, and 97% of those people go undiagnosed. There are also a handful of people that choose to be gluten free – they must be crazy right? Well, I wouldn’t go that far…
There are a lot of benefits to being gluten free, especially if you have been diagnosed with Celiac or suffer from wheat allergies. I have even heard of athletes going gluten-free during their training season to improve their performance. Eliminating this often hard to digest protein from your diet can make a huge difference in how you think, feel, and live your life.
When people hear that they have to be gluten-free they think, “Well, what I am going to be able to eat now?” Turns out there are thousands of amazing recipes and tons of blogs dedicated to helping people eat gluten free. And people that eat gluten free will tell you it’s changed their lives and they would never go back. They see it as a positive, and not a restriction. And that’s how we see it too.
That’s why we have recently developed a new line of gluten free products. Not only do they provide you with the quality seafood you’ve come to love, but they taste great too! We’ve put a new gluten-free spin on our classic Parmesan Encrusted Tilapia, and it’s just as delicious as the original. We’ve also taken Swai, another mild white fish, and coated it with a zesty cool ranch tortilla breading to bring you gluten free Santa Fe Swai. And for those who like a little spice, try our Jalapeno Breaded Shrimp. We take all-natural jumbo shrimp and toss them in a deliciously spicy and crunch jalapeno breading. All of these products are made in our Seattle processing plant and come to you ready to bake. Just turn on your oven and let us handle the rest.
Now you’re probably thinking, “But that’s only 3 things!” And you are right, but all of our All-Natural fish fillets can be used in any of your favorite gluten free recipes. Or try something new like Mediterranean Flounder with quinoa or South of the Border Tilapia with Spanish rice.
